Western Diagnostic Pathology

I cannot even begin to explain how bad my experience was here. First of all, I had to attend a Covid-19 test (which I was annoyed about anyway as I had a chest infection with a chesty cough, no fever or any other symptoms related to Covid). I was told to use my car as a waiting room until they call. They called and asked me to confirm and spell my name, surname, provide DOB & telephone number, then asked to proceed to the door. Get to the door, asked to stand on the X (this lady was fine), applied a mask which is acceptable and I understand. Then I was taken to a room which another lady was sitting in (I didn't know who she was and she didn't say a word). They confirmed my details again (yes everything after being asked the same questions a minute before I arrived from my car). The other silent lady got up after my test tube was ready and proceeded to do a swab of the back of my throat. She then advised she was going to stick the same swab up each nostril and it may be uncomfortable. Well uncomfortable is an understatement, she stuck it so far up my nose, I was at the point of sneezing and I pushed her hand away. She then said: sit on your hands please and if you move again I will need to hold your head back.....is this really how you treat people??? So a swab in each nostril for 8 seconds is normal and don't move? That woman needs an attitude adjustment and a personality. At least make a person feel comfortable in a really uncomfortable procedure, she was rude, obnoxious and should not be working with the public. After all that I did not have Covid-19 and I know they can't be sure when I walk in, however I was treated like I was a walking disease. Disgusting service on behalf of the woman who carried out my procedure, you treated me like a naughty child when my body was responding to a very unnatural procedure, shame on you!!

Best place to have your child blood tested- so clearly experienced with kids, no tears today as the 2 nurses were so warm and clever, can’t recommend highly enough

Today we were their for covid 19 and we have no appointments but our flight is tomorrow and the staff is great, cony and other nurse just saw 10 people in one hour , including us . Seeing 10 people in hour is great and fast work.Really appreciate what they are doing for community.thanks

I'm not in the business of leaving bad reviews but this place definitely deserves one. The service was awful and the attendant was completely unwilling to help.

This is the most convenient pathology collection for me being only a five-minute drive from home.There is ample parking and if you get there early enough, you are likely to have only a short wait.The nurse there is also very efficient.The premises are well set up, clean, and tidy.

The women were wonderful today with my toddler, all so warm and competent. Fantastic team effort resulted in a calm blood test with no tears. Thanks again!!
